Eric Parry: Drawing

Having worked with Sir John Soane’s Museum in the past, we were asked to design, detail and build a series of exhibition plinths for an Eric Parry retrospective exhibition which ran from 20 February 2019 – 27 May 2019.

Sir John Soane’s Museum is an historic house, museum and library of the distinguished 19th Century Architect. At his request the house has been left almost untouched since his death over 180 years ago. It is well worth a visit. soane.org

Library room with a circular perspex display cabinet..

We worked directly with Eric Parry Architects and the Sir John Soane Museum team to design each display plinth. They were a mix of coloured PU spray lacquered MDF, clear perspex and LED display lighting and were installed in different areas throughout the museum. This is another strand of the varied work we undertake here at Constructive and Co. which we find very rewarding.
